You finished #2 in 2011 and UGA finished #2 in 2012. In 07 you were 6-2 in conference play with losses to Arky and Kentucky. UGA was 6- 2 as well. The chips fell your way and a UT team that was blown out several times that year got to rep the East. Georgia obviously was the best team from the east, but did not make the game. You did finish #1 after beating OSU, but Georgia finished #2. Not very much separation between the two programs.

Three?

You can use OP's arbitrary time line if you'd like. The difference between the two programs is LSU has three championships since the Dawgs last won one decades ago.

I would like to say this is true but I think LSU has been better overall than UGA in that time frame with the exception of maybe 2012. LSU seems to live up to or exceed expectations where UGA seems to fold under pressure.

even Georgia fans are disagreeing with you. You look really stupid now

UGA has been pretty meh in one of the weakest divisions in recent memory, while LSU hasn't been world beaters, they have been far and above what UGA has been.

I was talking appearances. My fault for not being clear.

Three appearances, with two wins. Georgia hasn't come close to that.

LSU will always get the edge over UGA as long as the Head Coach keeps the fence around Louisiana for recruiting. LSU is the flagship school of the state with no in-state recruiting competition.

A better than average coach can have great seasons because of the monopoly on recruiting.

A great coach can compete year in and year out for championships and have chances to actually win one every ten years.

That's like saying your mom is slightly better at giving your brother head than you are, it just doesn't make any sense
