You can have 2011 if you give back 2007. Either way it all kinda balanced out in the end.

Doubt anyone could really argue that.

IN 2011, LSU:
-beat the defending BCS National Champion
-beat the eventual Big East Champion
-beat the eventual Big 12 Champion
-beat the SEC East Champion
-beat the eventual BCS National Champion, in their own house

We beat (5) different champions that year: Auburn, West Virginia, Oregon, Georgia, and Alabama.
THAT RIGHT THERE IS GROWN MAN FOOTBALL. when has uga even come close to anything like that? even in TWO seasons?

Also In the UGA/LSU time span:

UGA 4-4 in openers

LSU undefeated

UGA 6 OOC regular season losses. Not to heavyweights either. We talking Colorado, Boise St, Clemson(twice), Ok St, GA tech etc.

LSU? Well everyone knows what that record is. It transcends 2007.

And then you barely crossed the 50 yard line when it mattered.

Well that's it, it's settled!

Also, UGA is 5-3 just so you know.

LSU fans can't handle reality. They will come out in full force to belittle your opinion armed with everything other than fact.

Word to the wise: Don't poke a really stupid, uninformed bear.

The OP proposed an argument that UGA and LSU are identical. This is not true, therefore LSU fans made their points and defended them with facts.

WOAHHHHH

The whole point is that the regular season didn't matter. And in your much vaunted "stomping" of LSU you kicked 5 field goals and didn't score a touchdown til garbage time. LSU and Bama are tied at 1-1 that year. Until we go back in time and have the best two out of three LSU wins the season.

The difference between LSU and UGA has been breaks. I don't even think Bama would get that type of favor if they lost to Arky and Kentucky and still get voted into the big game.

UGA had the #1 overall pick in the NFL Draft at QB, a first Rd RB and an All pro Wide Wr. They won nothing with them. LSU had Mett, Landry, Beckham and Hill. They also won nothing with them.

Both programs have 100+ million dollar athletic budgets in talent rich states. LSU has no instate competition and UGA only has GA tech who is not a factor in big boy recruiting. Both have coaches who have won 2 SEC championships, but have no hardware recently. The programs are identical to me.

Except there is one fact that refutes this stance efficiently.

Fact: LSU has 2 BCS titles to UGA's zero

You really are the most ignorant cracka-arse-redneck here. You seem to revel in this identity and openly embrace this online persona.

The OP stated that the two teams are basically identical if you start in 2007 forward. You can't leave out the 2 NC's in 2003 and 2007 if you want a serious answer.

Just because we don't accept the premise of his troll, (I mean question) doesn't mean we don't understand what he is trying to accomplish (cough cough).

UGA is a very good program. I don't see where LSU fans give UGA extra shite or anything compared to anyone else.

UGA has a longer bowl streak than any team in the SEC and has the 3rd longest streak in the nation. Richt is tied for like 8th for all-time bowl wins too.

The difference is the lack of NC appearances and a recent-memory NC (and some issues with playing bad against highly ranked teams recently). Otherwise, UGA is consistently really good.

I'm like others here, I don't let football games drive me to the edge.... but God I'd love to see LSU beat Bama this time just to shut up the Alabama Cracker.
