BTW,the claim was made by his sleazy attorney not by Mays.

No. Said Kirby manipulated him into not transferring mid season and manipulated him to play football on saturdays.
A scholarship with food, lodging, health and training manipulated him to play on Saturdays.
He may have a point about a coach convincing him to not quit school midyear. That's his "gotcha" moment on Kirby. It is why I dont like early signing day (these kids give up rights with LOIs. I'd rather them keep their rights as long as possible)

It's hard to blame Tennessee for playing hardball. The NCAA is showing favoritism through the transfer portals. They have always been arbitrary in their decision making. They won't show their work.
In the appeal process, they changed their strategy. Nobody likes their dirty laundry out there for public inspection and they let the NCAA know they got some, real or not.
And guess what? They caved. Would it have happened otherwise? No frickin way.

The unprecedented amount of racism coming out Athens on top of everything else specific to Cade was just too much for The Mays to feel comfortable with. I applaud them on getting their child out of that toxic environment sooner rather than later .
