So how does effect Florida going forward? If the rumors are true that's a great hire by Florida. Last couple of Florida coaches were panic hires.

It's two coaches that I didn't LSU to get Aranda or Napier, both would kill it at LSU.

It's been an hour and so far, they're the only one saying anything.

They've won two titles with non elite coaches.

UF has never won one without an elite coach.

Not close to me.

Red Stick > Swampland

You're just scared UF will get it right again. After Nick Saban's Alabama program, UF had the next 2 dominant SEC programs since the divisional play began with Spurrier and Meyer. They were kicking Georgia's arse and you fear it again.

None of the kids playing high school ball today remember your last national title, either.

LSU and Woody better get their asses in gear and hire someone before they have to beg Gary Patterson to give them a look.

It's been known since O was fired that the new coach would be named after the conclusion of the regular season.

What's the hurry?

How come LSU didn't try get him? Maybe strucked out trying to get him or waiting for someone better?

Crap. I hope these aren't the same sources that told y'all that Chip Kelly was a done deal.

1980 fans are so dumb sometimes.
None of that is relevant to what is a “good job” for a head coach.

LSU is fairly toxic right now and Florida should be a cushy gig based on Mullen’s contract. It’s not about recent championships - if that were the case Georgia would be on the coaching carousel as often as Tenn.

Well, there’s very few schools that can hire a Harsin.
