If he was staying, why not sign the extension Ole Miss has on the table? And put an end to all this b.s.

He's not milking anyone. Lane is young and wants to win. It's not about a BK retirement contract.

I do think he used LSU to get his way on the GM with Florida.

Sucks to be an LSU fan, they are going to rapidly realize the sport is moving past them. In the NIL era, they are nothing

The easy answer would be that he is getting more from Ole Miss by using his leverage with UF.

The real answer is probably Lane just being Lane.

Your Governor already said we're not going to hand out anymore crazy money contracts, didn't he? Plus LSU won't pay B.K what he's owed. Why would anyone want to work for people that won't honor the contract that they gave to a coach?

You're not a serious person, at this point. He's a sub.500 coach in college and NFL. I'm tired of being a fan of a sub .500 team.

Give me a break: With his wife's connections to the university and the City of Gainesville, he was always taking the Florida job.

Lane being single.

Even more reason to pick the Gators.

I'd take UF over both LSU and Texas right now. At least they didn't run their old coach out of town in front of a noose, paid their buyout and honored their contract.

All that Florida talent with minimal headaches
