Since you recruit against them and play them head to head, why not let them partake in a tougher conf schedule than these two hilarious schedules that now have former confUSA or pac12 teams…..the bad ones at that.
Side note:
FSU did a spectacular job in 2022 with scheduling a week zero game before lsu. Remarkable that it appears you’ll get three weeks off. But now getting weeks off before:

UF President Ben Sasse and many UF fans would be fine with fsu in the sec if it came down to it

Finch is exactly right. I think most UF fans don’t care. The Smellynoles can eff off. As an SEC fan, I just don’t want FSU in the B1G. I don’t care what happens to them outside of that. We’re required, by law, to play them every year regardless
