The line dropped from 4 to 3 after yesterday. I guess a few people are buying UCLA. It should be very close. Lsu will be breaking in a new QB, new offense, new defense, and has a pretty big hole on the OL.

I think Hawaii was not a good game to base expectations off of… Their tackling was extremely low effort.

ridiculous and biased mindset.... how can one season be more of a fluke than another season? Even more so, the evidence points that 2020 was more fluke-y... lost almost everyone on offense and defense, new OC AND DC,everything covid hampered, and heres a huge, i mean huge, negative influence heading into 2020 that everyone (even LSU fans) seems to forget... Coach O was going through and finalized a divorce with his wife of the past 20+ years and the mother of his children. i dont care how "tough" anyone wants to act; when you have loved a woman for over half your life, and you have also built a life with this woman and had children with her, going through a divorce with her (ugly or civil) will break your heart... and if it somehow doesnt break your heart, then it would still negatively effect your emotions and mindset...
weve seen and O has proven, that without having to overcome all of those hurdles with a young team; then he usually can get double digit wins in a season.... so the single digit win season is obviously the fluke and the outlier....

No one has a clue about what LSU is about to put on the field. Two brand new coordinators that have never called plays

I think it is a close game and then we pull away in the end

This is what I think is driving the line so low for the game. For LSU to only be -4 or -3 over UCLA doesn't make sense in a vacuum, but when you factor in the fact that LSU is breaking in 2 brand new coordinators that have never run an offense/defense before, then I can definitely see when gamblers are a little hesitant here.
I'd love to put down some serious money on LSU because they have 10X the talent that UCLA does, but breaking in those two brand new coordinators, and with the HC never actually coordinating at any point in his career either, throws in just enough uncertainty that I am very hesitant to actually do it.

It's going to be a track meet. Neither team can even spell defense any longer.

I actually think this game will be close but LSU by 10 at the end. What say you?
LSU fan here and I think LSU by 10 is a good call.

TWENTY starters off a 3-4 team. Let’s let it play out. LSU has a shite ton more talent.
It won’t be a walk in the park, it’s week one and LSU lacks experience in several areas.

3-4 in the PAC 10 last year versus 5-5 in the SEC. I guess it's close on paper.
But UCLA has really gone downhill. Like their conference, they are terrible. If LSU loses, they ought to just shut their program down.
I'm honestly shocked LSU lost this game.
