Since I see a lot of people giving Auburn a hard time for losing to UCF I got curious.
How many teams in the SEC have been beaten by UCF!?
None other than Alabama, Georgia, and Auburn

UCF beat us in 2000, we finished 3-8, Dubose's last year.
Doesn't quite match your situation last season.

So, Auburn losing to UCF and embarrassing themselves and the entire conference is ok with barner fans because .... well ... because UCF has won some games in the past.

This is a stupid thread, Auburn didn't want to be there. Trust me... we got Utah'd before Auburn got burned. Hell you guys still bring up LA Monroe. Take it with a grain of salt.

UGA lost to UCF in the Liberty Bowl in our worst season in the Richt era, UCF was their conference champs while we were 7-8th in the SEC....

Okay and so by that knowledge Auburn lost to an UNDEFEATED UCF team and considered to be their best team in the programs history. Also they were ranked #6 in the nation.

UCF is in a recruiting hotbed. Central to South Florida is all they need to field a team. Same with USF and Miami.

The difference is that Auburn was representing the SEC in a major bowl game against a shitty program, and lost because you played an uninspired, ugly game against a team that wanted it more. It was an absolute embarrassment.
When Alabama lost to Utah, they lost to a team that might've actually been better, and would've given any team in the country a run for their money
