I would think Clemson with the eye test but Oklahoma may be more deserving.

You don't let UCF into a 4 team playoff. However, if the playoff expands to 6/8, there needs to be some sort of "if they meet a certain treshhold" for a non-P5 team like UCF/old Boise.

- undefeated
- ranked in the Top 10 of computers
- etc

There doesn't need to be a yearly spot for a team from outside the P5, but there needs to be a mechanism that makes sure the 2-3 best ones of a decade get a shot........but only if the playoff expands.

You leave Bama out. Not only did Bama not win their conference, they didn't win their division. If you're not the best team in your own conference, then you shouldn't take up one of the 4 spots in the CFP.

Do you realize how stupid (and redundant) this "logic" is? Let's just remove ourselves from the present for a moment and go back to 1971 when Nebraska, Oklahoma and Colorado finished #1,2 and 3 in the country(all members of the BIG-8). Nebraska analiated an undefeated Alabama team in the Orange bowl, and went undefeated for the MNC. Now under your premise, Oklahoma nor Colorado would have never been in the playoffs even though they destroyed all the other teams that they played(except each other) that year.
The fundamental goal, as clearly stated, for the playoff committee is to select theBEST FOUR TEAMS in the country to play. Now if you don't honestly believe that Alabama is one of the best 4, then that's your problem (a mental one, at that ).

But Bama dominated Clemson, proving they are the better team. The playoff is the best 4 teams. If anything, this past weekend showed the rankings were off by having Clemson #1. Probably should have been

1 OU
2 UGA
3 Bama
4 UCF?

If going undefeated in the American Conference got you into a four team playoff I think there’d be a bunch of power 5 teams looking to drop down.

Auburn beat Alabama and that my friends will float their boat for years. UCF wanted to be in the Peach Bowl while Auburn didn't care one way or the other.

See OU vs Bosie State ...Bama vs Utah Bama vs OU

When playing in the NOW useless Bowl games just hope you don't get paired with a team that has a hard on.

Well maybe if they had a shot in the playoff, like the FCS does, then it wouldn’t boil down to a UCF having to stoop to that level. It’s not their fault they have to take a page out of a SJW playbook. You should know a thing or two about that, being a Missouri fan.

Don’t think the american conference would take florida. Always having to worry about game cancellations anytime it’s partly cloudy.

Ah, but here's the problem with your logic. Auburn was ranked #7 in the CFP rankings and UCF was at #12. Yet, UCF still beat Auburn. So, even if the CFP was expanded to 8 teams, UCF would still have been left out. So the rankings by the committee are purely subjective and not definitive for just who the best is.

Let me ask you this - should the CFP just include only P5 teams?

Just giving this enough attention to post about how stupid it is, IS giving them the props they deserve. Congratulations for that UCF fans.

And let me guess. Her staffers and PR reps are claiming that it was a witch hunt, and the evils of racism reared their ugly heads in the investigation in Ms. Brown’s activities. LMAO- we have the same kind of shite in Ohio. Investigators and prosecutors can’t do their fricking jobs because of political correctness. I would investigate and punish regardless of race, but that’s just me. You know, trying to interpret the laws of the land and apply them to all US citizens.

This is boss as frick and I 100% support this move. It’ll never be “official”, but it’ll still be a great recruiting tool.

From Page 2

1925- This one is based off a polling system that wasn’t even around at the time (So were all other programs's that won during this era.)

1926-Shared with three other teams (only two - Bama & Stanford according to the NCAA LINK)

1930- Bama was ranked #1 in one poll, ND was ranked #1 in 6 polls (NCAA recognizes it as shared, Bama/ND LINK

1941 - LOL there were 14 teams with better records than Bama this year (this is one I don't like to recognize, Houlgate gave the title to Bama)

1964 - You lost your bowl game (doesn't matter, AP & Coaches gave Bama the natty. bowl games were just for fun back then)

1973- You lost your bowl game part 2 (same as 1964, part 2)
