I agree the same defense that kept LSU from getting a TD.

How in the frick did Bama face better defenses? The only defenses worthy of mentioning are LSU and Moo State IMO.

I certainly think Baylor is a pretty good team.

However, LSU fans desperately wanting to face Oklahoma State instead of Alabama are certainly making Baylor, Kansas St, Texas A&M, Texas and Missouri out to be a murderers' row that I'm just not seeing.

Maybe I've just been biased by reading all the same LSU posters a few weeks ago arguing that Oklahoma St had no reason to be #1 over LSU with a schedule not featuring a single team that will finish in the TOP 10.

FWIW, I think their schedule is a bit tougher than Alabama's top to bottom but they certainly haven't dominated it either, what with a TD win over Kansas St and comeback thriller against Texas A&M.

Not mention: Iowa St! I sure wouldn't put a penny of my money against Vanderbilt or Miss St going to Ames and coming out on top by a couple of scores.

This whole notion that the SEC is sporting 7 teams that could compete in the NFL is really baffling to me. Yes, LSU and Bama are great teams, but the rest of the SEC is down.

And we've both benefitted from that this year.

You should read and listen to rational Lsu fans. You haven't a clue what you're talking about and are using talking points like some mindless cretin during an election year.

I only claimed that claiming aTm, Mizzou, and Texas as great wins is a joke. Baylor and KSU are the only teams that OSU has faced this year that would be big wins. The rest are a joke.

Saying that 3 of those wins are great wins for your resume is like a janitor calling his job a sanition engineer on his resume.

LSU fans are now telling me it is harder to compete in the Big 12 vs the SEC.

Of course they are. Whatever they have to do to avoid facing Bama again.

I agree with everything you have said here.
This year the SEC has two elite teams, three mediocre teams (USCe, Georgia, Arky) and a really heavy bottom.
Normally, the SEC is not only the best conference at the top, but the deepest. Not the case this year.

To bad the coaches and writers do not think so. Heck the coaches feel VT and Stanford are better. Even the computers favor UA as the better team. Sorry LSU fans do not.
