It was a dumb take. Sometimes you have to just own them and move on.

How it's their money, they want to grossly over pay a kid who will never start a meaningful game in the NFL.. Career back up, taken in round 1...

Weird that you have such a negative opinion of a QB that walked into Sanford and ended the longest home win streak in college football.

UGA went 0-1, again.

Ty went 1-1

2nd QB off the board is a surprise.

He has been ranked as the #2 QB for months.

He had an insanely good Gruden’s QB Camp visit/video. I wonder if that bumped him up, most people were projecting late first round.

Sure thing.

Just looked at a few and in the ones I saw Simpson was the 2nd QB taken, but mostly in the last 1st Rd or early 2nd. Not trying to defend SB4 here but it seems like a reach unless you know Stafford is absolutely done after this season.

Well, our o line got their arse whipped, our running game had negative yards, and our receivers dropped a bunch of balls, of course.

And he walked out with a piece of their shrubs.

I hate to break it to you, man, but that game doesn't mean what it used to. I didn't even want Alabama playing in it.

this is a very weak QB class. One of the weakest in recent memory.

I feel like we’ve said that a lot the past ten years.

It's definitely becoming a trend and I believe there's a lot of validity to it. Just look at the performances of many of the starts this past season in the NFL. Other than four or five, most of the rest were average to mediocre.

There was a time when you had Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees, Ben Roethlisberger, Eli Manning, Matt Stafford, Kurt Warner, Philip Rivers, Donovan McNabb, Tony Romo, and Brett Favre all playing at once.

Huh? You said the game that mattered…that would be the playoffs, where if you lose your season is over. UGA went 0-1 and their season was over. Ty extended his season by winning a road playoff game, and then lost. Ty went 1-1 in “games that mattered”
