Thanks to the SEC, I don't see what you add to that.

You haven't been in the SEC long enough to say this. Newbs.

If the SEC doesn't grab us, we go West and keep the PAC together. I know some of you would prefer it that way, (sometimes I do myself) but in the long run the SEC will benefit for pulling in two of the biggest names in CFB instead of allowing another conference to do the same, and it's not always about the money right now, but in the future. You can deny all you want, but you know this is true.

Good thing those making the decisions aren’t as myopic as you.

Right now your big name is stepping on its own dick every weekend and embarrassing the rest of the conference members.

Please stop this.

You are so wrong, they paid Texas 15 million dollars per year when they were in the B12 and the SEC had no say in the matter with ESPN holding all the cards
Oklahoma was in the big 12 creating part of that value. That’s not close to the same as Texas being independent.

That would have been a terrible ideal for Texas and OU, and yet, I'm shocked they did not do it and joined the SEC instead.. Going to the PAC, they would have just been propping up another weak conference like the Big 12. Maybe some of the games like Washington, Oregon, and USC would have been interesting, but people out West don't care as much about college sports. It would have been a struggle to make a lot of TV money for both Texas and OU in that conference, not to mention the struggles with travel. The games would have been aired late at night, etc.

The SEC or BIG were the only viable options, but the BIG was not the greatest option for Texas due to travel distances...I think the SEC was the best pick.

Yeah. Very true. I also think that ultimately, Florida State will get into the SEC precisely to keep the Big 10 out of the booming state of Florida. I would hate to see it, but I feel like it time it will happen.

Are you saying Miami going independent or joining the Big 12 after the ACC folded?

I agree it's a big rivalry in the MW, but may I ask why you need 5 year to make it to the top 1/3? It's the UTx tv's that brought you into this conferences, you bring almost nothing.

Awww, look. It's another one of those clueless people that has never traveled west of the MS River. Anything over here is "MW" to your dumb arse. This isn't the midwest, pal. You have such contempt for TX and OK, why?

You probably think we wear Sansabelt pants up to our armpits and walk around eating hominy out of a can. Never heard of collard greens or catfish. No sir, we eat nothing but potato chips and corn over here in the MW as you call it. What kind of freakazoids do you think we are?

This isn't f'ng Iowa or Nebraska. We're southern just like you, with quite a few transplanted yankees living here because of a thriving economy. Pull you head out of your arse. We eat cornbread and collards. Salt pork in our beans. Been known to chew on a little sugarcane. gtfo with that poop.

All teams have benefitted from joining the SEC.

Except Arkansas.

When Aggie and Missouri (two doormat Big 12 teams) joined the SEC, they thought they had won the lottery.

Oklahoma has won 3 total SEC conference games since joining our beloved conference. Talk about a "doormat"....

Here you go...last meeting as conference opponents...truth hurts doucher. Times are changing...

To be fair, the Big 12 is partly to blame for the lower rankings. They are in the top 5 brands and will prove so.

I don't care to split hairs about who got more out of the deal, but sure I acknowledge SEC membership has been a boon to the Longhorns. Sark was able to sell players on Texas being in the SEC very soon and that helped him get players he likely wouldn't have otherwise.

Looking at the current CFB landscape, there's not another conference I would rather be a part of. Every week in the SEC is titanic.

I will never not be thankful A&M decided to spill the beans 2 years early and help kick our recruiting into overdrive , thanks little bro's

Do you Missouri fans think your an elite team or something? You post one game lol? Good win you beat the worst team ever for OU at home lol…. Congrats you got us .

Missouri plays scrub teams it’s why you never get ranked inside top ten ever

If you had OUs schedule last year you would have had a worse record . I couldn’t imagine the crying you if you had OUs schedule this year lol….. Mizery will never be thought of as being elite … it doesn’t matter how many years you been in sec you haven’t done jack shite .

I see Auburn is still upset that a one handed qb beat them . Just imagine if he was healthy .

OU and tx joining the conference pushed the bottom feeders (looking at you Auburn) further to the bottom and that's what really stings for you...now show us on the doll where OU and tx touched you.
