Well, player B is Fournette
You're better than this. A Trent Richardson vs Fournette thread?

I mean it's been 2 years and they look ERRILY similar, both in stats and the way they play (and both are in shitty situations).
I like Fournette but facts and facts.

They don't want to hear that man. Did you not know that Fournette is from Louisiana? He's FROM there man. And he STAYED there in college. They'll never be able to bring themselves to admit he's anything less than what they've already built him up to be in their minds over the past 7+ years.

I don’t think his point is Fournette sucks. I think his point is this board was drenched in Richardson a bust threads but yet LSU fans remain eeerily silent applying a different set of standards to their former players. It’s a fair point and not t necessarily directed at you but LSU fans are notorious for shite talking and they’re going to have to eat a few shite sandwiches when it bites them in the arse.

Yea I dont think Fournette sucks at all, and I think he's probably better than Trent was in the NFL.
However, I do think having you first few years in a place where you are just churning your wheels in place can frick you up mentally and stunt your development. And, like Trent, he's probably not quite built to run in the 2018 NFL like others are.

I mean I’m not going to refute any points that have been made but I just want to add that Op notes that both played in bad offenses, which is true for first 2 years. However, Trent Richardson joined the colts in the midst of 2 11-5 seasons in which they were a very good offensive team. He proceeded to turn in absolutely horrible production. Now I’ll add once again that before and following his tenure the colts were an abysmal running team so it’s unfair to fully blame him.
In conclusion, for running backs team matters.

I’d say 50% of so called “Running Back Prestige” is just how good the OL is.

Both were overrated from a physical freak standpoint. Trent was strong, but stiff and lost some top end speed between his freshman year and his Jr year imo.
Fournette has great size/speed ratio, but his 28.5 vertical leap was the 2nd worse of any RB this millennium. It was eye opening as far as lower body strength and explosion.
Both have horrible vision. Fournette has bad balance and Trent has poor acceleration through the hole.
Both would have benefited from different run schemes.
Trent ran well at Bama out of the pistol. Being deep in the backfield allowed him time to accelerate before getting to the line of scrimmage.
Fournette ran a lot behind a full back at LSU. The hole is well defined when you run behind a lead back and his lack of vision was masked.

Fournette hasn't won a thing in his life.
No Doak Walker. No Maxwell. No Walter Camp. No Heisman. No SEC Championship. No National Championship.
You would think for such a 'generational' talent he would have won something of note.

I agree wholeheartedly look no further than the Saints before they made an all out effort to become a more balanced offense. It has also helped Breese as well in my opinion.

Bro,
What do you think this forum is for? People get their rocks off by shitting on NFL players that played for teams they don't like, while defending NFL players that went to colleges they do like. This isn't hard
