Despite Oats claiming y'all were a championships caliber team, and despite y'all claiming Bama holds the best roster in at least the last 20 years, y'all finished with 7 losses and had to rely on a Super Bowl win by splitting the series against Auburn in an otherwise underwhelming season.
No Auburn fan has ever claimed this team is the best team ever. We just concluded our best regular season ever though. Hope this helps.

Your vaunted COTY, POTY, and best team in school history are at risk of having a losing record this year to Daddy Oats if Bama can get through KY&FL (not likely). I’d probably go ahead and lose to UT just to be sure…Pearl and AU fans would never recover.

We do not hang banners for SEC Tourneys and Regular Season Championships. We only hang banners for NCAA final fours or better.
