Thankfully, CBS-exclusive timeslots are gone soon (next year I think).
good deal... with the increased number of games each week b/c of expansion, it makes no sense for one network to solely control one time slot.

The ESPN deal is one of, if not THE worst thing to happen to SEC football in recent years.
From a fan's standpoint.

I can handle this. Keep the crowd from being too amped up.

Remember that? CBS should send JFF a nice gift basket this Christmas and post-date it to after the bowl game.
Don't forget they should also send our D a Xmas basket for making every game exciting. If we had even a bad, and not downright shite D, we'd have the issue of people switching from the game due to blowouts.

How will a noon kickoff ruin your road trip?
Go out in Knoville Friday night. Go to Calhouns for bloody mary's early morning, enjoy the win, head downtown to celebrate then watch Bama - LSU.

it's not ruined, but our family is tailgating before the game... people are coming in from ATL, nashville, Alabama to the game. I have relatives that live in knoxville. It's an opportunity to hang out with a bunch of people have haven't seen in a while... that'll be cut down significantly b/c of the kickoff.

No! Get a fricking Football team capable of being put on national T.V. instead of local affiliates because you suck so bad

Why don't yall head back to the tailgate after the game and watch the 2:30 games?

So this is like the 5th time ever a Big 6 team wasn't involved in an SEC broadcast, right?
