So this is like the 5th time ever a Big 6 team wasn't involved in an SEC broadcast, right?

This is obviously not even close to correct.

Just remember an article about CBS giving Mizzou the shaft and how at least one Big 6 team was almost always in the CBS game.

It was so nice playing at 2:30 this past weekend instead of at 6 or 7.
Yes, I got home before the wee hours of the morning.

not sure this counts, seeing as A&M/MSU was the 3rd selection for Nov 9th.

It's not just the Manziel draw, it has a lot to do with CBS already doing 3 games with Tenn.

Oh but it wasn't the 3rd selection...

Auburn/UT was 3rd selection.

HTH.

This might be true, but has it been verified? Or are Auburn fans just repeating it because it makes them feel better?

Well, there you go. It's false. CBS just decided that they would rather show A&M/MSU than Auburn/Tenn.

That is true but as I said it also doesn't help that CBS has already featured 3 times this season.

A&M has already been featured twice, and the LSU/A&M game is a lock for the CBS telecast. You can give whatever excuses you want, and I admit that I am also surprised that A&M/MSU was chosen ahead of Auburn/Tenn, but the fact is that CBS just decided the A&M game was the game that would draw the most viewers.

If it makes you feel any better, that has more to do with #2 than with A&M, per se. No college football team in the country has drawn as many television viewers as A&M has this year.

Seriously?

Our #11 BCS ranking makes us feel just fine...not a tv time slot.

I don't know, park. In the thread from earlier today, you seemed very confident that Auburn/Tenn was going to be the CBS game. You talked about what a terrible, terrible ratings draw MSU is. You talked about how, if Auburn didn't get the CBS game, at least you wouldn't have to listen to Brando. You wanted the 2:30 game. Your pride might be a little tender because CBS thought the A&M game (even when playing a ratings albatross like MSU) was more attractive than Auburn's game again Tenn. I know it stings, and I'm just trying to help.

(Oh, come on, you guys beat our arse on the field and ruined the season we had hoped to have...at least give me this small victory.)

Miss St vs TAMU was picked over Auburn vs UT. Hmmmmm

Mocha Tebow vs. JFF is the obvious choice to be the opening act for LSU Bama. Very rarely does CBS get to capture two QBs in the same game with such talent.

It was actually posted a couple days ago by an A&M poster...

It doesn't matter to me either way... I understand Manziel's draw nationally.

Well, of course I agreed, you half-witted buffoon. The fact that MSU is such a terrible draw makes it even worse that CBS would rather show the A&M/MSU game than the Auburn/Tenn game.
