I would like to extend a sincere thank you to all of the Bama fans that I met this past Saturday.

I, along with several friends, made my first trip to Tuscaloosa. Spent alot of time on campus. The Bama folks could not have been nicer. Very welcoming and friendly. A class act, through and through.

Honestly the only fans I’ve ever heard of people having problems with are Florida fans in general and LSU Students.

Anyone else echo this?

What?!?!?! The horror... you made a trip to t-town and no one assaulted you or made you feel unwelcome? I will have to have a talk with our fans about being so welcoming...

j/k Same experience for me year after year in BR... matter of fact, I had rather attend the LSU vs BAMA game there because the food is a hell of a sight better...

Great to hear!
I read stories all week leading up that T-Town bars close down after a loss. Haven’t heard anything since. Can you confirm?

Glad you had a good time Bama fans carry that same energy inside the stadium; I wish we had a more hostile crowd during games.

I have never had a bad visit to Tuscaloosa. I have watched LSU-Bama in basketball, football and baseball. Every time I had a good time.

Your worst fans are your sidewalk fans, but that can be said about us also.

We still hate you, take that as a compliment to your great program.

Been there 07, 09 and 11. Met a group of bama fans that first year and returned to their place each of the following trips. Great group. Still keep in touch with them to this day. Always had a great game day experience in t-town. Was extremely jealous I wasn’t there this year.

The last time I was in Tuscaloosa, the only fights I saw were Alabama fans fighting each other

Florida fans are by far the worst home fanbase. Stopped making that trip years ago because life is just too short for that.

Exact same experience I had. Fans were awesome, stadium was awesome, couldn’t have had a better time.

Glad to hear. I was at the game and had nothing but positive interactions with LSU fans. Real life people are usually better than anonymous internet people.

We are doing the Florda trip next year. We also have a big UF alum taking care of us and we are going to his tailgate

he liked getting T-bagged. they weren't actually welcoming to him, but since he's twisted, this is how he reported his visit.

I have been to almost every SEC campus now for gameday (No Missouri, Kentucky, or South Carolina) and Bama is actually usually the nicest. I have never once had a bad experience on campus, but my group is friendly and outgoing.

I had an apple thrown at us at a Publix in Gainsville before a game, that might be the "worst" thing I have ever experienced.

glad you enjoyed the visit.

I may be getting soft in my 40s but how can you not be happy for Coach O.

I have always had a great time in Tuscaloosa. I actually wore a JK Scott Jersey to a home game a couple of years ago and rooted for Bama. Felt so wrong at times but the atmosphere was great.

I went as well. The only problem I had was when a kid in an Aggy hat and sideline pass asked me if I wanted a blowjob while I was in the bathroom. I grabbed my son and ran out of there so fast. Next thing you know; he’s sitting on the sideline looking at Bama players asses.
