Case in point: Evan Smith who owned Krispy Kreeme had a total loss. But he had really good insurance, it allowed him to keep paying his employees while he rebuilt. He immediately ordered his equipment because it takes months to manufacture. He assumed by the time it came in the building would be close to ready for installation. Walt decided to do a bunch of dumb arse "studies" and crap that meant Evan could not rebuild for over a year. Then dumbass Walt went with a program put unnecessary (and completely unused) sidewalks on McFarland blvd. Nobody walks on them.
Then in a effort to outdo that dumb arse decision he got the planning and zoning department to require all the businesses that were rebuilding to do so about 5 feet from either McFarland or 15th streets. It was supposed to make Tuscaloosa look more urban. All it does is put people in those restaurants or businesses about 5 feet from traffic that is going 50-60 miles an hour.
I could list more, but the point is Walt is an idiot, who like a typical democrat will spend money on worthless unnecessary shite.

Our church is sending a box truck full of blankets, clothes, and water. It's being packed today and will go down tomorrow.
