The cops job was to keep unauthorized people out. I expect the cop probably yelled at those players before they ever got more than a step inside the tunnel.

bullshite! I’m an Aggie and that was totally unacceptable behavior. The stadium and campus have their own security. That Tx Department of Public safety officer was not where he was supposed to have been anyway. He should have been watching the crowd for problems, not that tunnel. That had nothing to do with the cannon or explosives. I’m sure he is in Austin at the TxDPS headquarters, right now being called on the carpet. His next football security gig, hopefully, is at a six man football game in remote west Texas.
