Alabama @ Georgia game perhaps has more on the line than meets first glance.
Alabama will likely be a NCAA tourney 3 seed going into the SEC tourney if they can win their last 2 games.
Georgia is a solid 9 seed right now. Beating Alabama would give them a decent chance of getting off the 8/9 seed line.
Huge advantage to getting a 3 vs 4 seed or 7 vs 8/9 since this year's NCAA #1 seeds are much less prone to upsets than the #2 seeds.

Again please give IT Dawg a link to the Wikipedia article on the NCAA tournament for basketball. He apparently has never watched it before. He continues to tell everyone to not be excited if we get into the tournament because we at best will win one game.

Bama is already a #3 for Palm/CBS and i think Lunardi. Finishing the season with 2 wins will separate them from couple of others on that 3/4 boundary that play each other or no Q1 games.
Reason is likely their Wins Above Bubble (WAB) number that has seemed to be a bigger deal for the committee than NET recently. Bama is 7.
