Is it possible they said the clock didn’t start on time? That was crazy

I think it was close enough that the refs gave it to A&M because they know they f’d up. If they hadn’t stopped the game to review it would have been over.

Why did Auburn get the ball after the previous heave off the intentional FT miss? I didn’t have the sound on

very fricking sport we get screwed. lol

A&M got screwed when the refs stopped the game after the missed free throw (which did hit the rim). Auburn would have had no chance to make that 3/4 court shot.

The refs stopped the game to review it and gave Auburn a chance to advance the ball down the court with the clock stopped.

There's no view we don't have the cross court shot shows it clearly and i mean clearly out of his
hand

Refs stopped the clock to review if free throw hit rim (which it did). That’s the only reason Auburn had a second chance heave, the game was over.

This, and the ball was in his hand. We'll get a good still shot eventually.

Refs blew the play dead because they thought the ball didn't hit the rim. So they determined it grazed the rim but now AU only has .6 seconds.

which it did

To be fair, there was no angle that clearly showed that it touched the rim. If it did, we have the stiffest rims ever.

Except Auburn was already launching their last chance heave as refs blew the whistle which was way off. The extra .6 seconds was a gift

It was nearly impossible to tell that it hit the rim live. The refs were completely in the right to review it. I’m not sure how you overturn the make though. I haven’t seen a definitive shot yet. Including the one above. That angle ain’t great to determine whether his hand is on it or not.

You don't know what would have happened if the refs didn't start blowing whistles as soon as that thing came off the backboard.
