That was their opinion as well. And all were bama fans...
They were completely dismissive of the idea of him being close to the same player next season.

Any slip up in recovery that causes a setback in his timeline would really push him up against it in terms of getting physically ready to play CFB/NFL ball next season - especially in terms of being ready for fall practice.

Scared of what? It seems there is a decent probability, if not more than likely, that he is at least gimpy when he plays LSU next year, like he was this year when he was pretty ineffective at moving the ball consistently.
At the end of the day, this is amateur football. It would be a pretty fricking sad story if he wasn't able to make it to the next level.

Without mobility, Tua is an undersized QB that can barely see over his O-line
Yet he carved LSU up in Tiger Stadium and had a 45 yard rushing touchdown with a giant brace on his knee.

Dont mind the Bama retards, only a dumb arse thinks you just pick up where you left off in Week 1 with an injury like that.
Where are y'all getting this shite that someone's pushing him to play or that anyone thinks he'll pick back up in Week 1?

I'll take
What if Bryce beats Tua out
for $500

I have not seen an images of the actual injury, but can tell you unequivocally that the injury reported is devastating for normal life let alone high end athletics.

And no one remotely implied that.
Not in this thread, no.
I've seen several Bama fans post on here at various times since the injury that Tua would be back and play the whole season.

Tua Tagovailoa will be on a partial weight bearing recovery plan for six weeks and will be rehabbing daily in Tuscaloosa, per @LauraRutledge. Then, in three months, he will be able to begin athletic activity again, and by the spring, he is expected to be able to resume throwing.
By non-weight bearing he meant no full activity like running/weightlifting. Your post confirms that with the 3 month line.
He’s already put weight on the hip. Likely within a few days of the surgery.

Idk if he'll be back or not, and he may not be 100%, but he's a great representative of the University regardless. That's why I would be giddy if he decides to stay one more year.

Sabans told doctors to get that "pineapple picker" ready.

Per the guy who saw the CT scan, it was brutal and worse than he expected.
You don’t come back from that in 8 months as the same player. More likely that he sits out.

I think this is what he'll do. No NFL team is going to pick him in top half of the first round once they get the medical records.

This sound like the kind of reliable information I come to the Rant for.

I don't know about the rest of us, but what Chicken pays me to post here goes straight to my fund to pay juniors to come back to school. Works out really well

I hope he comes back. One thing Nickey really sucks at and that’s handling Qb controversy
