I tend to agree. Dude will still get a free education and free medical care staying at Alabama even if he's not able to play next year. With that $4MM insurance policy, not a bad situation to be in.

Yep, and if he can't play at best NFL guys are able to watch him and talk to him and doctors and get comfortable with his injury situation. At worst, he gets drafted #10-15 and misses out on 1 year of salary.

Since you are an LSU fan you probably don't fans or coaching staff have nothing to do with him playing, first, he has to be medically cleared to play, then the decision is can he make more money via higher draft status than going out this year. I'm sure he will consult with the Alabama coaching staff, but the decision is his and who he trusts
