What will Tua's legacy be if we beat Bama and Bama never even gets into the playoffs? He's supposed to be a GOAT QB for Bama but he would only have a NC for the year that Hurts took em. He'll also have 44-16 hanging over him. Bama fans, won't you be a bit disappointed if he doesn't get it done this year?

I mean, if you're a GOAT QB, shouldn't you be known for more than just 2nd and 26 or are Bama fans just happy to get that one half of a NC effort from Tua?

This is a troll to be sure, but it's also a great question for Bama fans. So make sure answer up and tell us how you really would feel.

he is. How would losing 1 game to LSU diminish that?

Jeudy, Smith, & Company should be the story of that team.

Everyone expects Georgia to win the SEC East. No doubt.

But no one ever expects Georgia to win a NC. So, that's a bad example.

Tua is a bad arse no matter what happens in this game. He has a great legacy and will be successful in life even if he never plays in the NFL

Totally agree but as a whole, will sidewalk Bama fans get over their disappointment about him?

He is a legend no matter how the season turns out. The only game he has lost as a starter was the national championship.

Anyone who has the ability to sit back and really look at what he has done will appreciate him immensely.

If they don’t make the playoffs this year there will definitely be a cheap CNN style headline/storyline that opposing fanbases could run with.

But it will be pretty silly.

His NC performance and win was as epic as it gets.
Made the NC his next season and wasn't the reason Alabama lost in the NC.
Then lost to the best LSU team in nearly a decade while being hobbled.

Yeah, it could have been better I guess. But nothing at all to be ashamed of and shouldn’t hurt his legacy of being the best QB Alabama has ever had(if he is).

Tua's legacy was set when he completed that pass to win the natty. Everything else after that is gravy.

Bama not making the playoffs would not diminish what Tua has accomplished. He is a great QB.

One of the most prolific passers in Alabama history.

Likely a 2x Heisman finalist.

Depends if, in this hypothetical pipe dream of yours, the loss to LSU was due to Tua being off his game or due to the D not being able to stop LSU (or something else), and how he plays the rest of the year, most importantly against Auburn.

In either case 2nd and 26 will live forever as one of the greatest plays/moments in Alabama football history, but this season could still certainly add a substantial amount to his legacy.
