Tua's knee. . .

I asked a doctor about it and he thinks he has a torn MCL or PCL. Nothing you can do about it until the season is over. You can play on it but it's going to be extremely painful with certain movements.
It also makes the knee less stable overall and increases the chance of other ligaments becoming torn or strained.

Same old Bama wearing players down til they’ve got nothing in the tank.

But it was for the greater good.

dear diary, asked a doctor about tua today...

He is moving much better than Hurts today. I sure would like for hurts to be ready before the Iron Bowl because I know AU will go for Tua's knee. Not a dig on AU, anybody in the SEC would.

Well if you try to tackle above the waist, targeting, you gone.

Well with the new targeting rule it's much safer for the defensive player to go low.

Maybe don't target the head or neck area?

Yeah, but AU will go for the knee same as MSU and that is fine. They know if they can get Tua on the sideline it greatly increases their chances of winning. This is the SEC and teams will do whatever it takes to win. It is what it is.

Less accurate while running for his life. I think he is still the best player on their offense but his oline can't protect him and no running game to speak of to take some pressure off of him.

Nick Fitzgerald has almost twice as many carries as Alabama’s leading rusher, Damien Harris, who ranks 20th in rush attempts in the SEC at 101.
Please tell me more about overusing players.
