I think Tua will deserve to win the Heisman by his last year.... but if Peyton Manning and DeShaun Watson can ball out and not get one, it's no guarantee.

Y’all also thought JJ and Stidham were Heisman caliber

And he will also be a top 10 pick.
Heisman likely. But height will hold him back in the NFL as that's bee a pretty big bigotry. Both him and Aaron Murray were/are listed at 6'1. In college it's pretty well known they fudge height. With Tua all of his RBs were taller. Even so, height killed Murray from being taken high and he was an incredible passer.
Tua will still be drafted in the first 3 rds, imo. BUT height will hurt him despite his arm.

He has a great future, but hopefully it's a Russell Wilson trajectory and not a cardelle Jones story. To the comment about him being humble...Yes he is but jalen hurts showed class beyond words and is 100% team .

100 dollar bet says he doesnt sniff the heisman. If vince freaking young cant win it then tua has no shot

Tua should have won the Heisman this year. jk. Baker Mayfield earned it with his play but it's a shame he was so underdeveloped emotionally.
Seriously though, he should be fun to watch. I know Jalen should be rewarded for even helping us get to the playoffs and get past Clemson. That had to be a soul-crusher to get replaced like that but he did not show it. That was impressive. You don't see that sort of thing these days even with full grown adults much less a college-aged kid. Very proud of him.

It can be a crapshoot, no doubt. And Vince Young should have gotten one.
Still, if Tua can get Bama to the playoffs next season, "the best player on one of the best teams" will help propel him to NYC (fair or not). At the end of the day, that's all you can hope.

It planned out because he had a boat load of luck.
The guy came in when it was 13-0 and Bama hadn't moved the ball at all other than 2 decent runs. He then proceeded to dismantle Georgia's secondary with precision passing. That isn't 'luck'.

He'll have to compete with several other Bama players.

What impressed me about tua was how he maneuvered in the pocket. There were a lot of times he stepped back and then stepped up to extend his time that hurts would have bailed and started scrambling.

Fun fact he is a rightie only throws the football as a leftie.
