I agree, for me Uga is a much more important rivalry for me as an Auburn fan.

Fulmer broke you gumps before most people on this board were even watching CFB. What a glorious time to be alive that was. We are about to run it back on you starting tomorrow afternoon.

That’s totally fair. The Deep South’s oldest rivalry is special as hell also. It was crazy to me that the overall series record has basically always been tied until Georgia has taken a small lead the last few years.

So you're saying it's been a long time. We know Tennessee is the only team in the Big 6 that hasn't won a natty much less an SEC title this century

as a fan of a team from the outside (meaning not auburn, bama, tennessee, uga). The iron ball has consistently been more interesting for me

That's just an outside fan perspective

If not for Nick Saban, LSU would still be a dumpster fire program most likely.

That man single handedly made LSU relevant out of nowhere. Too bad he left you and upgraded to a superior program.

It's generally been more competitive even when Auburn was having a down year

It's like for UF fans, most older hate UGA more. Most younger hate FSU more.

You are going down Gumps. Heupel has our guys ready to run through a brick wall for him in Neyland this weekend.

The more violent and physical team will win. Period.

Tennessee is a soft, finesse program under the Fatman.

We spend a lot of time in East Tennessee this time of year, and when the Crimson Tide beats the Vols makes it even more enjoyable.

I have never watched a TSIO from start to finish

I have watched 20 iron bowls.

And those yellow and rainbow warriors made fulmer go to retirement.

Nah, Saban killed the series with 16 out of 17 wins.

There have been very few times since 2000 that Alabama and Tennessee have both been top teams.

The Iron Bowl just means way more.
