What does it mean for players seeking an extra year now?

Probably nothing right now. It won’t be hard to find a judge willing to stick it to Trump and blanket sign off on a TRO. Then it gets tied up in court until it makes its way to the USSC

You guys are absolutely hilarious. All of you sound fresh out of college wisdom wise.

Absolutely hate it. And I voted for him three times. I'm still sure I picked the winner three times.

Why do we need to gub'mint to decide where free people can or can not got to college ? Especially when they're are so coveted they are getting paid to do so ? Its a free exchange of money ... for a legal act.

It's not worth the paper it's printed on. It's just for publicity. The Supreme Court will declare it unconstitutional.

You ain't wrong. But I hate that as well.

No where else was it ever ... ever ... legal to corner somebody such that they signed all their earning rights away. That's servitude.

Its bullshite. Its bullshite now that Trump is trying to get involved.

Pure bullshite.

Maybe because schools are government ran facilities and are mostly funded by the government and salaries are paid by the government combined with the fact CFb is out of control.

Which layer of the marble cake runs these schools?

Well, it’s a combination of a lot of layers, but the federal government funds the state and the state funds the universities. The federal government does provide federal grants and federal tuition to the majority of its students so they can attend the university which is essentially the federal government funding the school. It’s more complex but make no mistake, universities are publicly funded institutions by either local municipality money, state money, or federal money, and when you follow the money, you find the boss.

There needs to be change, or our world as we know will explode. Not just CFB

Maybe, Einstein, you could wrap your head around this.

We ALL went to public school. And at no point were any of use limited from taking a side job at the local Pizza Hut. Not ever.

And not even in college. And it only happens in sports. Anything other than sports ? They call it an internship. Or work-study.

Now tell me more why certain folks can't make money "because". Jack arse.

Good Lord what a hillbilly melt if I’ve ever seen one. Don’t fall going back up your mountain.

The NCAA has no enforcement body for these rules and that’s the problem

Because its pretty tough to get in the middle of person A and person B .... when person A pays person B to perform a legal service.

College sports is getting fricking ridiculous. You have guys playing their 7th year of college sports and players transferring to 5 or 6 different schools. It's about time the president or Congress stepped in.
