False. He loses to teams like Rutgers, Toledo and Texas Tech. He is a good coach if he is given a stout roster, but don't ask him to build a stout roster. He mismanaged it here. That's why he has failed. It wouldn't matter what conference he attempted it in, he would have failed there too

Honestly I think the only reason he was so successful at Wisconsin is because he had Barry Alvarez there micromanaging him. Bielema may have been the HC in name, but Alvarez was still running the program, and on game day it was still Alvarez's system they were running.

Plus it was just really good timing for him and Wisconsin. Not only were the big boys all down for most of his time in Madison, Ohio State, Michigan, and Penn State. But also a lot of the other programs like Iowa that are capable of upsetting bigger programs, or having rhe occasional good BCS caliber, or making a run at the conference championship were also down a lot during that period.

Beliema is just a typical dumb cocky jock.
Give him a stout roster to run on his own with no help, and he'd better than he is with his shite Arkansas roster, but I think he wouls still fail overall. He's a dumbass.

Since Fats has been in the league, any coach would be more successful in the East than the West. There is little question that the West has been stronger in most of those years. This year, I don't think either is particularly difficult.

Obviously, the answer should be yes. The East is significantly worse the West for a while now.

Let's look at the results

2013: 0-6, 0-2
2014: 2-4, 0-2
2015: 3-3, 2-0
2016: 2-4, 1-1
2017: 0-3, 0-1
Total: 7-20 (35%), 3-6(33%)

He is pretty much equally bad vs each.

Given how bad the east is, just about any coach would be more successful there.

Its not about how bad the east is, its about how bad Bert is.

Somehow we beat the SEC east winner and lost to the last place team in the east last year. So who knows.

Exactly. It's Bret. He lost to Toledo. He lost to Rutgers twice. He blew two three possession leads last year alone.

It wouldn't matter what conference he was in, he isn't a good coach.

Don't be so sure about that. Since coming into the SEC has is 3-6 against the East.
