With the least imaginative nickname and mascot name... (Trojans and T-Roy). One could note that, originally they were the "Troy State Teachers", but changed it when they joined the NAIA. They later changed their nickname from the "Red Wave" to the "Trojans" when the student body voted to change it in the early 1970's.

Their fans, obviously, should be called "Homers"
They should never schedule any school with a horse for a mascot.
Their mascot should be "Hector"...but, since he was killed by Achilles when he was trying to protect Troy...maybe "Aeneas"...or even "Paris" (since he was the one who actually killed Achilles and was able to woo the most beautiful woman in the world, Helen, away from Greece).
