I think Trooper is a caricature, but how awesome is it for him personally to have chest bumped the President of the United States?

Its not like he is the first person to get chest bumped by the President. The list is a mile long for both Kennedy and Clinton.

Uh, did I say he was the first?? Hardly. I'm talking about Trooper Taylor, so try to keep up.
EDIT: I just reread your comment, and the "Kennedy-Clinton" line was seen in a whole new light...

You can not like her 'til your heart's content darlin'. And far be it from me to take that dangerous step placing myself between a woman and her opinion.

All I was saying was that she's not stupid (which is what I thought you said, but you didn't, so my apologies there) and not incompetent (which you did say and to which I responded).

My initial reaction when I saw it on the news was surprise that the Secret Service didn't tackle Troop and start clubbing him or something.
And then I realized that it was probably carefully choreographed.

Well, you know what I mean. The sort of doubletake at something entirely unexpected and the instinctive first reaction to it.
And I'm trying to get the thread back on track before it gets weighed down with any more fail political/religious/socioeconomic opinions.
