I assume the suit will be filed in Lafayette Country. I would venture a guess every judge there is a graduate of Ole Miss law school

That should be your hope because the case itself doesn't pass the smell test.

Not how it works at all

It literally is how it works according to what the ncaa has done in the past.
Less than 4 games played = redshirt.
Medical issues that prevented you from playing = redshirt. Regardless the injunction allows him to play regardless of the outcome of the case that will also be heard by the judge that granted the injunction.

Imagine that this is taking place in Louisiana if that helps you understand

Multiple things can be true.

Your case is trash.

You may find a homer judge who is willing to look past that though.

shite with eligibility hasn't passed the smell test in years. Just add one more to the shite pile.

Nothing is going to change anyways until Congress gives the NCAA anti-trust protection or the players unionize so collective bargaining can happen.

Just depends on you guys finding an Ole Miss homer judge. I'm sure you probably will.

Judging by how everyone in Mississippi has lost their mind over Kiffin, including state officials, I fully expect Chambliss to get another year.

What this will do is put one more nail in the coffin of the NCAA. If any player can create their own realities about eligibility if they have enough money, then there are no NCAA rules.

3 public institutions within the state are members of the NCAA. It opens the NCAA to the jurisdiction of Mississippi (and every state) courts.

There are more than three NCAA member institutions in MS, but that doesn't give the MS courts power over the NCAA anywhere outside of MS.

I guess GA courts can rule him ineligible.

even Alabama and LSU didn't stoop to this level. And just think if Kiffin hadn't scouted and signed Chambliss, this season and the future would have been Austin Simmons

1. The injunction is all that matters.
2. The injunction will be granted.
3. Chambliss will play for Ole Miss in 2026.

I’m not arguing anything. I’m telling you what’s going to happen.

A temporary injunction isn't going to allow him to play next season, birdbrain we're 8 months away from the first game. If Chambliss puts all his eggs in this basket, he risks denial and missing the NFL draft. No agent will ever allow him to do that.

Diego Pavia just played this entire season under an Injunction. The injunction was put in place in December and rules that Pavia was eligible while the suit was litigated on its merits. The suit is still not finalized.

Maybe.

But you also said Kiffin would 100% be back for his seventh year so you have a habit of making proclamations that end up failing badly.
