Of course it will be different. Who’s arguing otherwise? If the difference you’re referring to is Ole Miss becoming a doormat again, you’re going to be disappointed.

NCAA has granted QB Noah Kim not only a 7th year of clock time, but also a 5th year of play eligibility. Chambliss is seeking a medical redshirt only so that he can have his 4th year of play.

Kim was on the Michigan State team for 4 years (2020-2023 inclusive) and played in five games in each of his last two years there. He transferred to Coastal Carolina and played in 2024, then to Eastern Michigan where he played in 2025. So, after playing at least 5 games in each of four seasons, and having been on teams for six years, the NCAA granted him a 5th year of play but denied Trinidad a 4th year.

Oh, his attorney disagrees wit the ruling? I'm shocked

A letter written 4 years after the fact? Yeah, I'd probably not give that much credibility either

Wow, with all of those serious medical issues, he'd surely have been to the doctor at least once between August and December. Where are all those records? "Sorry, NCAA, the best we can do is a letter from my old coach he just wrote swearing I was sick."

LSU fans melting because Golding having a better season than Kiffin next year would be humiliating to them after how much chest puffing they’ve done.

Are you incapable of staying on topic?

No one is melting. People are discussing the merits of the Chambliss case. You know, the topic of this thread. The thread was started by, checks notes, an Ole Miss fan. Do you think he started this thread without the intention of engaging in a discussion about it?

Are you Nostradamus? You can see that far into the future?

Let's see....
Pete inherits a CFP team from Lane.
Lane inherits a shite show from lazy fat arse Kelly.

Who will be humiliated more if Lane gets Lane results and Golding gets whatever the frick he is capable of getting? You don't really know do you since he's only coached team the Lane built. After the easy layup vs Tulane, he's 1-1.

You're like someone walking home in the dark, whistling past the graveyard.

The NCAA is putting themselves into a corner. But they always do.

If Trinidad doesn't get another year he's going to sue them for $5 million and he's probably going to win. There's too many instances of kids playing and redshirting multiple times for 6 and even 7 years that the lawyers will have.

If he enters the draft and is signed for greater than or equal to 5 million, what would be his damages?

We shall see. Wednesday is the final day to declare for the draft but doubt that affects a post graduate player. The Scouting combine starts in Indy on Feb 23 so surely sign up deadline is a few weeks before that. I just want the NCAA to stop being racist and let this young man make a few million $ at Ole Miss.

Yeah great plan. Take it to the same level that already neutered the NCAA.

It’s nothing but lsu fans saying what is going to happen about a player and situation they know absolutely fricking nothing about.

Chambliss will be the QB at Ole Miss next season no matter how much you and your fellow faqqots seethe about it.

Wouldn't a temporary restraining order be his best outcome? This season will have come and gone by the time the suit is finished in court. Chambliss could play until he's done or the court rules against him. Awful precedent to set going forward. Everyone with a stubbed toe on up would be filing suits if they allow him to get another year.

Yes that is the strategy.

Regarding this specific case, LSU fans (and fans of any other school) know as much as anyone else does.

How ironic you'd say this immediately following your previous statement. As of now, Chambliss' waiver has been denied. Yes, he has hired an attorney and is filing a lawsuit. He has not been granted an injunction to play next year. So is this where I say "this thread is nothing but Ole Miss **** saying what's going to happen next year when you know absolutely nothing"? I know Chambliss playing next year is what you want to happen, but no, there is no guarantee that is going to happen. Players have not had a 100% success rate when suing the NCAA to grant them an extra year.

Theoretically, yes. That's how Pavia got to play this year. His underlying case still hasn't been heard

So you think a better plan is for them to let a local state court judge in Mississippi make a ruling?
