....And Joe, like Fields, didn't walk, they chose to leave.

Joe turned out to be a far better qb, won the Heisman and a National Title, you can't seem to comprehend that...

Plenty of first rounders have sucked.

Joe has it, generational player, DH great qb but not generational.

Yeah the difference is we weren’t stuck with Jake Fromm.

But you do you, Georgia.

LOL:..... and how do you know Joe won't be? He hasn't even played in the NFL yet.

Jake had a great career, he lost his wide outs and could not find consistency in his wrs.

Never lost to UT or UF, won the Rose Bowl/Playoff, damn near won the NC, played in two more Huge Sugar Bowls.

He may not be generational, but he was a damn could qb for us.

Y'all enjoy beating the sisters of the blind in that joke of a has been conference ok. Then enjoy getting beat by a real team from the South.

Oh, I "comprehend" well and am overjoyed with what he achieved... but we are not discussing that. I just explained the reality of why Joe transferred. Enough of this nonsense.

Too soon to know. Fromm is 1-1 in the playoffs with a near NC win.

Fields lost to our little brother Clemson and is 0-1 in playoffs.

Story yet to completed.

Look at jamies Winston., You can go from great to not quickly

Jameis got 5 years at #1 overall contract money and he'll be an NFL Starter again in the near future, maybe not at $35Million per year, maybe at $24million per yr, it won't be in NOLA , but he'll start again

Jameis has the talent to make big plays at the NFL Level, not everyone can say that, all he has to do is learn to cut the mistakes, not be too greedy chasing big plays and let the Game "come to him", Jameis will learn a lot from Peyton & Brees and he'll be much better in the future

T-Law is an overrated joke.

Fields at least made it to Final 4 with Joe.

Spencer Rattler is a joke too

Here’s a guaranteed 3 or 4 out of your 4 Heisman finalists

Fields SR
Newton SR
Hubbard
Brennan

My comment wasn't about Black QBs, my comment was that UGA chose a noodle armed guy with questionable judgement, hell you guys would've fared better by going with Eason after he rehabbed, Kirby played it safe rather than going with upside that would be needed vs tougher opponents in future Games

Kurby chose Fromm over this guy

Kerby chose Fromm over this guy

Eason was a True Freshman in that 2nd highlight clip imagine him behind UGA's OLine for the last 2 seasons

And after next Spring's NFL Draft Fields will go to his Bank with a 1st Round signing bonus of upwards of $10million and the Bank will gladly accept that vs Fromm walking in that same Bank and presenting his CFP Record

As he should, but doesn’t change the fact Fromm did better in the playoffs than fields.

On all accounts UGA lost big and Fields won big, and bringing up CFPs where you didn't win it all means less than nothing to most CFB Players

Fields definitely went to a school that knew how to utilize his talents. Not sure if you can say UGA lost big when Fields is 0-1 in the playoffs. I doubt fields leads a Coley offense to the playoffs.

Give CFB Players 2 choices , a winning record in the CFP with no Title and a 5th round Contract , or a 1st round NFL Draft slot and a losing Record in the CFP

Right, but I’d bet a school would rather have the playoff win than the playoff loss.

Eason

I can understand fields, but Eason? Fromm’s freshman year shite on Eason’s. Fromm literally took his job because he was better. At what point in 2017 would you have benched an undefeated Fromm for Eason?

This is where HCs earn their money, the big bucks that is, the way Fromm was winning he was clearly a game manager with a much lower ceiling than Eason ---- when Eason rehabbed his Soph Season who's to say with all that upper class talent around him who's to say UGA doesn't win those same Games but maybe they score more points maybe they score easier with Eason at QB instead, maybe that sets UGA up to play better in 2018 and in 2019

Who knows what UGA's offense looks like with Eason being able to make all the throws behind UGA's stout OLine

Fromm's last 2 seasons at UGA , Fromm was the weak link, everyone in CFB could see it except UGA Fans

lol Eason went 8-4 his freshman year. What did Fromm do? Should Kirby have rolled with an injured Eason over Fromm? Seems like Fromm did fine. He led a team to a natty. Would’ve won one if not for a blown coverage. What did Eason do at Washington? At UGA?

Fromm was the weak link his last year. He set UGA records his sophomore year. He threw for 300+ 3 td’s and 0 int’s in the SECC and somehow HE was the reason UGA lost? lol just stop. His subpar junior year doesn’t erase the first two. In the end he was a product of the talent around him, but was clearly the best option at the time. He was flat out better than Eason and a better fit for UGA’s archaic offense than Fields. If you think Fields would’ve replicated his osu numbers with UGA’s wr’s and coley at OC then you just don’t know football.

Maybe Eason does as well as Fromm did. His play at Washington doesnt suggests maybe he wouldnt have.

I remember when RG3 & Tyrann Mathieu were both at the Heisman and Tyrann's mom found out from RG3's parents that RG3 once lived in New Orleans just one block away from where Tyrann grew up.

Imagine that high school team had the Griffin's never moved to another military base in Houston.

You can't seem to comprehend that you can't have two 1st round QB's playing at the same time.... or maybe you just don't want to. Yes, Joe had an epic year but ' I think my LSU cohorts will agree, his first year was quite pedestrian. Not bad, but nothing to brag about either.

He's right. It's one thing to watch a talented kid walk when you have a first rounder who setting records as the starter.

It's another to sit a Heisman caliber kid when your fifth round, game manager QB is playing less than stellar football. If the staff couldn't see the difference between the two it's an indictment, and I hope they learned from it.

Eason was a better player than Fromm eventually. He was more prone to mistakes but had a higher ceiling. You could argue that backfield and rum game made Fromm a better choice. The reason the Fields thing was bad is he's actually less prone to mistakes than Fromm.
