It is true. You UGA fans have a well deserved reputation.

Fields and Lawrence look good against mediocre conferences. Fields numbers were inflated because he was surrounded by 5* while the teams he played were full of 3*. Against the SEC he would be a normal QB as shown the year before

Too soon to know. Fromm is 1-1 in the playoffs with a near NC win.

Fields lost to our little brother Clemson and is 0-1 in playoffs.

Story yet to completed.

Look at jamies Winston., You can go from great to not quickly.

he was pretty darn good as an incoming freshman in the limited time he payed as a backup at GA. He is as uber talented a QB as I've ever seen and he would be great against any competition.

Fromm was way better administratively than Eason, he processed info much quicker and had a much higher football iq and he flat out ran the o better.

Short of Bama being forced to replace hurts in a game we were in control of, not many coaches would replace Fromm.

Fields may have over take Fromm this year, Fields may have left OSU if he went there first for the same reason.

I honestly think OSU letting Burrow get away is an even more epic frick up.

Hoping Newman bests him for the Heisman for epic karma.

Nah, we own Clemson and unlike Bama, they have beat us once in 30 plus years and it took TG3 getting hurt for that to happen.

Would love to have played Clemson in ATL for NC...

UGA has had double digit leads against Bama in the NC game, and two SEC championships and couldn’t finish them off.

Your idiotic fan base is by far one of the most delusional in America. But what would you expect from a group that thinks Fromm is an elite QB? Why don’t you win a NC, and then maybe you can sit at the big boy table, ok?

yeah, i mean fromm regressed (or at least didnt progress) and fields looked great last year. It wasn't really that cut and dry, though.

kirby mitigated the risk, and I dont blame him. Fromm looked good enough to be the QB of a national title winning team his freshman year. He didn't really do much to change that opinion his sophomore year. Additionally, kirby knew we would win the east and have a shot at the CFP pretty much regardless of how bad fromm was. There was a world where Fields was a bust and could have screwed us. Obviously, that world did not materialize

I just dont find it to be some damning critique on kirby. There's also an extremely good chance that Fields could have been our starter last year and this upcoming year and the results don't change at all. If that's the case, does it really matter?

TL;DR fromm didn't progress, fields is better, but I'm not sure it will really end up mattering that much.

I was alive the last time Georgia won their National Championship. I was NOT alive the last time MState won theirs.

How so? They parted ways amicably as at the time spring ball ended Dwayne Haskins was barely leading, and I mean barely leading Joe for the starting QB. Joe didn't want to take the chance of being the backup so he transferred because he was to good to sit. Don't blame him, he made the right choice. he might have started, but I doubt it as Haskins rewrote all B1G passing records (including Brees and Brady) in his one year there. It was all due to an "embarrassment of riches".

I view Miss State as Useful Idiots, they thought they were going to kill us in 2017, we destroyed them from the first play and could have won by 70.

Great game day coach that Mullen. Had to hear about some noodle armed kid from Georgia the entire broadcast that we did not want...

Joe actually won a Heisman and NC in the most epic year I can ever remember. He did it at LSU not the school he went to and dreamed of playing for his whole life. Epicly stupid of OSU.

Kudos to LSU, single greatest TP pick up ever.

I actually don't think he is a MState fan. he's an alter whose team has been pretty awful, so he has to take shots at Georgia from the cover of an alter.

I'm not sold on Lawrence being the best at anything. He played his way out of the Heisman discussion last year, he didn't do much besides run, a long drawn out galloping touchdown against ohio state. And against LSU, he looked pedestrian. He just got propped up by the Bama game.

LOL..... So having a QB for one year and setting records, then getting drafted in the top half of the 1st round is "epicly stupid". Ok Pal, whatever floats your boat.

Nah, letting Burrow walk is, great move by LSU to pick him up.

OSU let a qb go that had the greatest season in the history of college football at LSU...

You can't seem to comprehend that you can't have two 1st round QB's playing at the same time.... or maybe you just don't want to. Yes, Joe had an epic year but ' I think my LSU cohorts will agree, his first year was quite pedestrian. Not bad, but nothing to brag about either.
