Bama lost too many games and could not even make it to the SEC championship game. If Bama wants to make the playoff then win more games. Until that happens, enjoy the visit to a lesser bowl.

It was short but solemn.

I’m giving it 9/10.

I give it a couple more years. Next years schedule looks like another 9-3 year for the gumps

Probably lose 2 of these:
@ UGA
@ SC
@ Auburn

Probably lose 1 of these:
LSU
Tenn
OU

It was worth the CFP expanding to 12 teams just for the OP.

They lost to vandy and chokelahoma. They don't deserve a playoff spot.

Got lazy? LMAO. They didn't even
Get off the bus. They weren't hungry enough so they weren't
Focused. They got exactly what they deserved. I bleed Crimson but
The truth is this team with Milroe
Has gone as far as they will ever go. He may be the best athlete on our team but he's certainly not the
Best QB on it. If for no other reason
His inconsistency. Daboer doesn't wanna cause waves by sitting him
When he's playing bad. Unlike
The GOAT. Just my Opinion.

Bama has the talent to win the championship . Everyone knows it . But because they got lazy and lost to a couple inferior teams they get punished . CFB is tired of seeing bama win and they wanted to set an example . Bama should’ve never been left out . They are the face of cfb with or without Saban. I hope the playoffs crash and burn

…better get used to it…

It is all about giving HCs time to settle down and get the players they wanted that fit in their style of football.
This is about using common sense. I am happy that Drinkwitz is elevating the football team in general. Even Gary Pinkel couldn't do it. He did enough but Drinkwitz is going to be a much better HC than Gary Pinkel. This isn't about Mizzou. It is all about Alabama losing to 2 unranked teams. One in a blowout loss close to the end of the season. I never question that Mizzou was never good enough to make the playoffs because the team wasn't quite ready to compete for a championship yet. So far Drinkwitz is building the program to get blue chip players. Soon he will have Mizzou playing in the playoffs. DeBoer had some bad losses in his first year at Washington. Kirby Smart had something like that in his first year at UGA. Nick Saban did the same thing in his first year at Alabama. There is no shame for losing that many games in their first year at their new school. Some may never improve like we are witnessing BK at LSU. Maybe with the much improved roster that might change but I doubt it because BK isn't a championship HC at this level.

Here's the thing:

You are not going to generate anything but ridicule when you attempt to argue that a three-loss team belongs in a tournament meant to decide a national champion of college football. What's more, we were begging to be let in as the 11th or 12th seed when we know well and fully that there aren't 11 or 12 teams in college football that are capable of winning a national championship. That's one of the reasons why expanding the playoff to 12 teams was stupid. There might be years where five or even six teams are capable, but there will never be a year with more than that.

You might be right or you might be wrong about capable teams.

But the only way to tell which type of year is by letting the verified candidates have a chance at it. And that means only so many from any one conference gets a chance. It's why we have league play.

Which is much better than the past where undeserving teams could get a free pass by reputation . . . (even if harboring losses).

You Alabama fans that keep beating this drum, and ignoring that Jalen Milroe shite the bed (again) vs Oklahoma, sound as bad as the Rant trolls obsessed with Alabama year round.

Would we have beaten SMU, Indiana or Clemson? Probably/possibly

A lot of teams left out can claim this. Stop kidding yourselves.
