You sure about these stats? There’s no way there’s 30 other teams with a worse defense than Ole Miss. imagine if their head coach wasn’t a defensive guru?

Because they’re all immeasurably better than posting raw data while most teams are playing cupcakes like you did.

You already admitted that these advance analytics are worthless at this point. The raw data is the raw data, but hold on to your to FEI rankings which you did not post or cite to.
For fun, let's look at SP+ ESPN
LSU #8 overall, # 2 defense
SP+ strength of schedule: LSU #1 overall
Advance analytics sure are fun

Thats not accurate. OU was penalized 9-81 @ Michigan

Oklahoma has been penalized 12 times for 106 yards in 2 games. That is 53 yards per game. Math isn't really that hard.

Read it as away game penalties, my bad

It happens. No harm, no foul.

Damn why isn’t LSU favored by more than 3?? That defense with Lane Kiffin?? Surely we are missing something
The bookmakers are accounting for several nunchuck attacks on LSU players during the game

Not only is LSU defense ranked #1 in NCAAF in ypg allowed, but LSU is also ranked #3 in FBS in ypg on offense only trailing Miami and Miss St. This is a very good team. If in the unlikely event that LSU loses to Ole Miss which would solely happen bc home field advantage in this drama, the season isn't over.

Oh, this guy? He was so highly regarded Texas St was able to hold on to him! You’re a clown!
2026 Game-by-Game Log
Week 1 vs. #4 Texas (L 7-59): Jackson struggled against an elite Longhorns defense, completing 15-of-23 passes for 150 yards, 0 touchdowns, and 1 interception, while managing 27 yards on the ground.
Week 2 vs. UTSA (L 26-31): He put together a stronger all-around game by throwing for 192 yards, 1 passing touchdown, and 2 interceptions. He made a bigger impact with his legs during this matchup, adding 39 rushing yards and a 6-yard touchdown run.
So we should expect your defense to be on UTSA’s level?
Yeah, I’m sure Texas St QB is on this kids level. I’ll bet the kid from Clemson gets drafted and the Texas St QB won’t!

Looks like he’s already doing better than the Texas St QB.
Yet y’all are 90th?

The bottom 5 through two weeks:
Kentucky played Bama.
Auburn played Baylor.
Texas played Ohio State
Ole Miss played Louisville.
Florida played FAU and Campbell. Wasn't pedi-loving Sumrall supposed to be a defensive guru?

You’re a Tennessee fan and didn’t realize we played at Georgia Tech which is an away game?

FEI is opponent adjusted stats.
And is useless with only two weeks of data. Just as useless as the same stats you complained are t meaningful.
Nobody knows much right now, but you can also watch games and see how teams look.

If you read my earlier posts I said exactly that.
They start to make some sense week three but before that there’s just not enough connective games for any of it to be valuable outside of directional observations. Right now some of those algorithms are using stuff like recruiting and portal rankings which really just means they’re guessing until it can be removed around week 3-4 when there enough data to keep the models from being obviously ridiculous.
The difference between adjusted (FEI, SP+, etc) and raw data is the raw data never really comes close to telling you what you think it’s telling you until the very end of the season and only within conferences because the teams are playing such dramatically different schedules that it’s really not that meaningful outside of that grouping.

Yes, I did realize that...which is why there is a "1" after 101.00. Tennessee has played 1 away game and 1 home game.
Here is what I had for Tennessee.
