Seems right for Missouri, I think we will rip up non-conference play, but shite the bed in the SEC because we won't be able to score enough.

Man, he's predicting LSU to have a really good offense and an absolute train wreck of a defense.

The real question is does this season finally get Mike White fired?

Teams with experience have a leg up every year. I mean it's obvious what you're trying to do here, but it's impossible to come up with any sort of scenario where the nature of last season benefitted Alabama and Alabama only.

In a normal year you are correct. This past year prevented teams from Summer Practices and overseas trips. Teams like UK use that to develop their "one and done" players. Didn't happen this year and we saw the results. Fall practice was effected. Teams that had players in the programs a few years had a big advantage. Teams that had players with experience at the college level could adjust. Player without this experience could benefit from the more experienced players once the season started. I said this before the season started. Look at UCLA, the limped into the NCAAT based on their season. Then they started hitting their stride once they got that needed experience.

Interesting - I had no idea y'all had that big of an advantage on us.

Bama has a good coach and good players. Just not as good as Auburn's.

But still good to overcome the decrepit high school gymnasium Bama calls home, the shitty fans, and all around low rent program to still put out a top 25 team this year. That's part of what makes Oats so impressive is that he's been able to overcome such a toxic trash environment. I'm truly looking forward to the next 2-3 years that Bama is good before Oats gets hired by the Hawks

Maybe if he misses the tournament, but if he keeps getting in as a 6/7 seed and losing in the first or second round he's probably got at least another 2-3 years before he's in any serious danger. There are only a handful of programs in the country where it's easy to justify firing a guy who is making the NCAA tournament every year.

I truly do look for Muss to have us back in the top 2-3 of the conference... Even with such loss of players/efficiency.

When you look at what he accomplished last season, with so many transfers... It truly is compelling.
