I just value speed more than anything else which is why this is my list. Fournette is an elite elite rb but that 4.53 40 just put him slightly behind the rest on this list

But you've got Derrick Henry above Fournette?

Great back. People forget about him.

I would take Walker, DMAC, Bo, Faulk, and either Travis Henry or Jamal Lewis.

Todd Gurley was one of the best technique backs I’ve ever seen. He would be in my top5 easily.

H Walker
B Jackson
T Gurley
D McFadden

1. Cecil Collins
2. Bo Jackson
3. Herschel Walker
4. Darren Mcfadden
5. Shawn Alexander

Cecil "the diesel" Collins, in his short stint before getting injured was the most explosive running back I have ever seen. His stats would have been legendary had he managed to remain in the good graces of LSU. I listed these as though I were picking them to play a game for me, not necessarily based upon their career stats. Cecil, in my opinion, was that good.

I agree that Collins had incredible talent. In fact, I though about him and Guice and Gurley. Collins just did not play enough. Just couldn't pull the trigger on Gurley or Guice, but a case could be made for either. I think both are better than Fournette who is good of course. IMO, Guice is a great RB. Hope injury doesn't take away his game. He actually reminds me somewhat of Collins.

I assume you are joking about having Collins number 1. He only played in 4 games.

I am basing my opinion on who I would have in my backfield assuming all of them are healthy and ready to play in the prime of their careers. One game. I don't care about their career accomplishments. I am basing it on their skill alone. Cecil isn't going to be remembered for his career stats but for that brief glimpse of what he was and could have been. The dude was a beast of a running back. I have been around since the days of Billy Cannon and I have seen them all since those days. Cecil's story is one of the biggest letdowns from what could have been there is.
