Henry did have better figures against the better teams on his schedule, though.
Henry had the benefit of not facing the best rush D in the county too.
You can keep changing the criteria if you want, but it won't change the fact that they are neck and neck on the season.
The great divider will be Fournette is going to end with a much, much better career, overall.

Okay buddy,Henry is better than LF no matter what I say
I've pretty adamantly stated that both are great and I think it's splitting hairs.
I do think Henry has had a better season than Fournette in 2015.

Gurley has to be 1a or 1b with Dmac or Lattimore.

It also involves games against Syracuse, South Carolina and Florida while Henry's were against Wisconsin (Top 5 run D), Georgia and Tennessee.
UF is 7th in rush D. Why leave that out?

That is fine, but then you also have to account for the fact that Henry faced Wisconsin (#5 Rush D), Georgia (#43 SEC Rush D) and Tennessee (#65 SEC Rush D) while Fournette faced Syracuse (#94 Rush D), Florida (#9 Rush D) and South Carolina (#110 Rush D).

Yards Per Carry
Florida - #9 (3.30)
Syracuse - #94 (4.75)
South Carolina - #110 (5.13)
Wisconsin - #5 (3.19)
Georgia - #43 (3.97)
Tennessee - #65 (4.25)

He said based solely on ability, that's why. So I didn't look at stats or team success, I looked at who I thought had the best overall ability and skills. That's why he's #1

Won't argue, Guice is the truth. LF on the other hand isn't fit to carry Hurd's jock, tired of watching him run straight into the back of his lineman.

Henry was carrying the rock late into the 4th against UGA, UT & AU while Fournette was watching from the sidelines for a full quarter in each game.
See, I can move the goalposts too.
There is one fact in all of this nonsense:
They've both had great years. Each being better in certain areas than the other.

So, YPC is all that matters to you now? I guess that makes Fournette better than Henry.
Glad we settled it.

You mean the only 2 Heisman winning RBs in the SEC for the last 30 years?
So for 100 years all we heard from Alabama fans was that the Heisman trophy was overrated. Then they FINALLY get a Heisman winner, and now it means something.

I mean, there are no goalposts to move.
Fournette piled up the majority of his yards against teams with losing records. He has giant splits between the two.
Leonard Fournette
vs FBS Winning teams (7 games): 4.88 ypc, 125.4 ypg, 1.29 TD per game
vs FBS Non-Winning teams (4 games) : 9.48 ypc, 215.8 ypg, 2.25 TD per game
Derrick Henry
vs FBS Winning teams (9 games) : 6.19 ypc, 156.2 ypg, 2.00 TD per game
vs FBS Non-Winning teams (2 games) : 5.47 ypc, 161.5 ypg, 1.00 TD per game

Because he averaged almost 10 ypc against Syracuse, South Carolina, Auburn and Eastern Michigan?
I mean, alright.

Ingram won a heisman with 2 30 yard rushing games. He rushed for under 60 yards 3 times and under 100 5 times. Ingram doesn't deserve any top 5. Hell LF had more rushing yards and a higher ypc and more rushing tds

You always got onto me this summer for participating in chubb threads defending NC, yet here you still are defnding LF to the death practically every other day lol.
Not hating, just point it out.

You're stupid. Every single person who evaluates talent disagrees with you.

You've gone from overall stats, to stats vs. P5 teams, to stats vs. P5 winning teams.

Fournette piled up the majority of his yards before his FB and blocking TE went out for the season and his two freshman guards' inexperience got exposed.
