He was the first to benefit from Gus's system. He was racking up WildCat numbers before teams even considered that a viable offensive set. System RB

McFadden could have ran in any offense remember Arkansas had zero passing game while he was there so he was facing a stacked box on defense EVERY GAME HE PLAYED IN THE SEC, and still got all those yards.

D-Mac was a 1000 rusher BEFORE Gus, with Gus and after Gus. He was just that good

So since 2000?

Darren McFadden- Worked with less but did the most
Travis Stephens- One of the most underrated backs in SEC history
Ronnie Brown-underrated as well
Mark Ingram
LF7
Cadillac
D Henry
Trent-stunk as a pro but can't deny his college career. All records Henry is breaking were Trents.

It's next to impossible to only list 5. There have been many of similar talent.
Also, these guys are amoung the best in SEC history but some I would rate higher.

Hershel
Bo
Cannon
Emmitt
James Brooks
Charles Alexander
Dalton Hilliard
Shaun Alexander
Cecil Collins
Brent Fullwood

LF7 has 3,111 yards, 6.4 yards from scrimmage and 28 TD's in two seasons.

2,775 & 6.1 ypc rushing

Excluding his 625 return yards and 1 TD from 2014.

Impressive, no doubt.

Henry has 2,787 rushing yards and 33 TDs. Their rushing total and TD totals are super close.

Cadillac's best season he ran for 1,307 yards and 5.4 ypc. In 2004, with weapons everywhere and an NFL QB he ran for 4.9 ypc.

He was a really good player, but I think his injuries in the NFL and the shared backfield with Ronnie Brown have given him an overvalued lore.

Different era. Defenses were a lot better then. He also was a punt return beast. The threat of him and Brown opened up our passing game to where Jason Campbell was the SEC POY.

Even still all great backs, splitting hairs.

Ingram doesn't belong on the list, he was gifted a heisman he didn't deserve. Dixon had as many yards with one less game baw.

Rephrase:
1. Todd Gurley (would've won the heisman if he hadn't sold his jersey and then have UGA's effed up compliance dept "handle it")

I don't know who Dixon is but I am certain that he never sniffed the big stage games that Ingram performed in. You gals are too cute.
