Dumb list when you know Barry Sanders accomplishment in 11 games is going to have to hold up against a player who could possibly have stats count from 17 games in one season.

Tony Dorsett rushed for over 1,000 yards all 4 seasons at Pitt (11 games each season). His Sophomore season was the only one where he rushed for less than 1,500 (and was the only season where he averaged less than 5.5 yards per carry).

No SEC player made the top 20 ypg list. Two SEC players (Percy Harvin and Felix Jones) made the top 20 ypc list. One SEC player (Derrick Henry) made the top 20 most yards in a season list.
Only two players have made the top 20 ypg list in the past 10 years (Jaret Patterson, Buffalo, 2020 at #20 and Melvin Gordon, Texas, 2016, at #12).
Oklahoma and Texas have players on these lists, but none of them from after they joined the SEC.
