Top 3 fave play in Cocks history

That first down call was some baby back, brokeback mountain bullshite.

This play is so impressive, it takes up all three top spots on its own.

Arguably, the 2012 Gamecocks were the best SC football team in history. This one is also from 2012 vs UGA. Given the situation it was one of the best games South Carolina ever played and by many accounts, this moment was the loudest that Willy-B ever was.



The next week a good chunk of the team got the flu and they lost a close on on the road vs LSU. Then the week after that, the rest of the team got it and they got blown out in the Swamp.

And not a play by the gamecocks per se, but the 2013 Game vs Missouri or the "Shaw Shank Redemption" game stands out. Connor Shaw was sick and didn't play vs #5 Missouri on the road. He enters the game in the 4th Quarter and manages to tie the game up and it goes to overtime. We all know what happened next...

If I had to pick 3 plays in a row, I'd pick this one. Two were bad, and one EPIC. In 3 plays it was, Personal Foul, Personal Foul, Pick 6, Personal Foul all by the same player.

Didnt watch live, because the cardinals were playing a world series game. But the fact this happened like almost as the exact same time as the infamous 3rd base interference call is pretty amazing.

You just know if that Michigan ref knew Clowney was going to blow up the play ge would have thrown a flag for something.

Bummer that a great football game came down to a shank - both teams played pretty well (and Shaw especially with the dramatics coming off the bench) - for this to be a missed FG and our only loss of the year didn't do it justice. It might have gone 4 or 5 OTs the way they were trading punches. I was there - mentioned this the other day in the gut wrenching game thread... Thanks for the second reminder in less than a week!
