When Arkansas is decent BWA is really hard to win at. When they are good or great then its almost impossible to win there. Hardest place to play in SEC in my opinion.

Well said, even our mediocre teams did a good job battling great teams at home.

It make some mad but Muss does a really good job working refs as well over the course of a game.

Flexed to the big ESPN channel as well. Going to be a fun game and honestly I think this is the most important game we have left.

Never heard people that cover the game mention TN as one of the hardest places to play in basketball (maybe during Patt Summits games).

Have heard and seen BWA mentioned as one of the hardest places to play in the country by numerous people that cover the game and played at BWA.

Has any player ever had to cover their ears from it being so loud at a TN home game?

Don’t confuse LSU with UT. maybe you should worry about not exiting the first round of SEC tourney here soon.

It is almost always the secondary ball handler. If I had to guess it will be Vescovi.

Where do yall come up with this stuff at? You've gotta be one of the most cringe posters on this forum. Certainly from your fanbase. Tennessee has had better attendance than Arkansas for most of this century and is definitely more accustomed to playing in front of larger crowds than Arkansas over that time. TBA is consistently voted as one of the toughest arenas to play at in the SEC. It was voted the #1 toughest arena by players at the SEC Media Day a few seasons ago and is consistently in The mix for best home environment in the conference. Being so bad for so long really has you guys puffin your chest out as of late. You're a legend in your own mind, Golfer1.

From the Athletic:

quote:

It's tough to play against the Vols on their home turf, and no one knows that better than visiting teams.

According to The Athletic, players at SEC Media Day 2019 voted the Thompson-Boling Arena the toughest place to play.

Tennessee Basketball posted quotes from some players who voted. One, from the University of Kentucky, said, "We couldn't hear each other, couldn't hear coach, because it was that loud in there."

Another player, this one from Florida, said, "Everyone is going crazy, everyone is against you, and you gotta play your best to get a win there, for sure."

That's just one article. There are many.

If it was as loud as it was against Auburn then no.

You're on crack if you thought TBA was louder than BWA

Going to be interesting to see if those small gaurds can handle the length of our perimeter. We have long tall defenders on the perimeter. Good game coming.

That has Rupp ahead of BWA. Even KY fans will admit that's not true at all.

We have blue hairs too but the fans aren't scared of them and will laugh in their face if they're told to sit down. During AR/AU,I even saw old peeps yelling and getting rowdy.

It'll be crazy again Saturday.

Yeah it was louder tonight in TBA than BWA has gotten this year. I’m expecting a letdown after the UK performance though.
Now you are just making shite up.

TBA was just as loud as anyone last night for most of the game. It will be a good game, but don’t expect a double digit win form either team. UT is playing really good at the right time. Over the last 10 games they are 8-2 and won the last 5 in row. That Kentucky game in Corrupt Arena woke them up I believe. They been a different team ever since.
Y'all keep saying this shite but if so where is all the tweets about the crowd last night like there was last Tuesday night?

Its a good arena and a good team, but, dont get carried away, Baw. TBA has always been a poor-mans-bud-walton.

If we shoot the ball half as good as last night we can pull out a dub. Should be a great game

TBA = The Bud’s Apprentice

You have a nice arena but not the basketball history to match the passion of Arkansas fans.

A home court advantage that's so good that you've lost to multiple quadrant 3 teams in it this season? Excuse me, mega titan basketball extraordinaire Hofstra was in Little Rock.

When you take the series lead against the VOLS or consistently start beating us in attendance we'll talk about which fanbase is more passionate.

This century's track record points to the VOLS and it isn't close.
