Revenue does not mean they turned a profit, although I'm sure they did.

Poors. A&M

No, can't be. This link is obviously a lie and just trying to hate on A&M, because A&M is the school everyone is jelly of.

Shouldn't matter for revenue discussions.

Except the penalty was withheld from Big 12 conference payouts. So it pretty much matters.

Tigger, I think this entire discussion sailed over your head.

As stated in the original article:
quote:

The figures aren't a complete picture of schools' finances. Universities can vary in how and when they choose to report some financial figures, such as debt service and capital campaigns.

Multiple data points have been offered in this thread, showing why poors is an inaccurate characterization.

Some Aggy went in dry on tiggerthesip's husband (life partner) in a fashion reminiscent of Genghis Khan!

Correcting an erroneous statement =/= letting them into our heads.
We're more than familiar w Lat's schtick.
It's all harmless.

So, what's your excuse for letting Aggies own real estate in your dome that includes a complete retirement community with 2 PGA-level golf courses and a Rec. center with an Olympic sized swimming pool?

According to this site, we were #6 nationally at about 120 million.

LINK

In all seriousness, this thread is spreading misinformation and really ought to be edited.

Arkansas with academic smack. Third tier gon' third tier.

Also, I think in 2012 we suffered because of no money from Big XII and exit fees and such. As someone posted above, looks like we came in at 119mm...

I doubt that anyone actually believed it--not in the manner that it was delivered, anyway (I.e., A&M not a blip on the top revenues radar).
Lat gonna Lat.

I'm surprised UK is in the Top 25 after the fan revolt in football.

I think the IMG radio deal (where most of the value is basketball games) adds about 8 million to the UK bottom line every year. I think it is one of the richest radio deals in the country.

Wisky #2 proves Bielema is a cash cow. Expect Arkansas to rise in these rankings quickly.

Yeah I mean we make less money than LSU according to this list, but in our two years in the SEC coming off one of our worst decades ever we have the exact same amount of wins as LSU coming off a BCS title game appearance. If anything you should be totes jelly of our money management.
