What in the world is going on? Everyones offended that opposing fans wouldn`t rank their stadium #1. Who would of thunk it. Some arguments baffle me.

I find it hilarious when an Auburn fan, or Alabama fan, or LSU fan, etc.. Call another fanbase trashy, or rednecks, or hillbillys, etc.. When ALL fanbases have those types of fans. Also, i find it hilarious Bammers always talk shite about Auburn fans owning trailors when fans of ALL fanbases do. It is just flat out fricking hilarious. Same thing goes for mullet loving weirdos.

I can't believe I'm agreeing with you, but whatever.

And it's not about ppl owning mobile homes. AU's student housing used to be a lot of mobile homes. That's well documented. You can google it if you like.

LSU has been my favorite so far as for stadium and noise. Great, traditional stadium. Sanford was also a cool atmosphere...

I agree. I have been to every SEC stadium multiple times except Kentucky and South Carolina, and LSU is BY FAR the best. Bama is no where near LSU IMHO.

Very overrated. Bryant-Denny becomes a morgue when Bama gets behind.

No LSU fan should be talking shite about fan staying power. Tiger Stadium empties really fast regardless of whether they're winning or losing.
bullshite. LSU fans stay for all 40 minutes of the game.

I know, but that has changed. Auburn's campus and surrounding area is very nice. That was just a cheap way of living while going to college. I mean, they are just college students. Money is sometimes an issue, so why not offer them a cheap way of living?

I have rich friends and they had fancy trailers. It wasn't a matter of money, but availability.

The only time I have ever been in a trailer was visiting a friend at Auburn, who went to Mountain Brook High School. It was a nice as shite trailer, but still a trailer nonetheless.

Stadium wise I agree, but I found the game day atmosphere and traditions pretty cool and rank it up there as one of my favorite trips.

I agree. Besides the student section, the stadium isn't loud at all (partly because of the stadium shape and partly cause it's a wine and cheese type crowd). We also really need to add a jumbotron (the traditionalists won't be able to stand it, I think it's necessary). With that said, there's just something "in the air" at ND, that makes it special. I can't really explain what it is, it's just there.

No doubt. My understanding of it is that a lot of Vets came back home and took advantage of the new G.I. Bill. They wanted a college degree and needed cheap places to live. I would have no problem living in one while going to college.

I mean frick. A roof over your head is a roof over your head. Ive met plenty of ppl living in mud huts with no electricity and they used their hands for toilet paper. You see that shite and you'd think a trailer is a mansion.

My point exactly. Unless you have a good amount of money or get a full/half scholarship, you are going to have trouble paying for college. Apartments aren't the cheapest thing, plus you have to pay for tuition. I hate it for people who go to, and they have a scholarsip and end up losing it due to bad grades, and they have no way of paying for school since they don't have much money.

If i went to Auburn, or any other college for that matter, and i didn't have much money i would have no problem with living in a trailor. It's just all about a person's preference.

Or their willingness to humble themselves and succeed. This thread ran off the tracks.

I heard about that stigma before I came here. All the trailers are down Wire road. Everyone I know has a sick one... Can`t believe I`m saying that but its true. Most of them have decent sized yards too. Rents a lot cheaper and cops dont bother with parties either. If your southern and don`t mind saying you live in a trailer bc your a college student then I say go for it.

I noticed it not long after posting the pics.

But they're too killer-looking to delete. Not as killer as Alabama's Cowboy and Ramp Lady, but they're close.

I've got friends who live in trailers in Auburn. Like you said, perfect place to throw keg parties and you don't have to worry about douchie neighbors calling Lee County on you.

I try not to poke too much fun, because I lived in a shitty house my last 2 years of college because it's all I could afford.

My dad graduated back in the 70s from Auburn. He lived in a shitty trailer, but he is an engineer and says

Reasons Why LSU is Easily the Best
1. Better food
2. A live tiger mascot and best pre game
3. Tiger Band (best in the country)
4. Obviously one of the loudest stadiums in the country (Historic Lore of the loudness - Earthquake Game)

LSU could definitely renovate the old dorm rooms that are within the stadium, but they supposedly contain asbestos. So it has delayed it from being addressed yet.

Bama was very MEH when I went there but it was during their down time. Arky was favorite but it rained so hard you couldn't see the fans on the other side of the stadium and they cleared the stadium a couple of times, LSU and UF fans were too hostile when I went there.

It depends on the shape of the program, when you visit an opposing stadium. I've been to Tiger Stadium when the program was in bad shape (1998), and when things were great (2006). My experience at Neyland was when Tennessee was still winning 10 games a season (2004). Things would be different now.
