When comparing first downs not awarded by penalties it was 33-3.
That’s an enormous margin over ones opponent statistically. I don’t care who you are or who you’re lined up against if you keep them from gaining a first down almost every single time they are on the field, that’s hard to do.
I would have expected this number to be about 33-10. Or something like that. 33-3?
That’s a dialed in defense.
