I’ve never hated AU basketball either, as a Tide fan. I actually grew up a UAB fan here in bham before heading to Ttown. The Blazers have a good shot at the tournament this year and might get out of the first round.

Can't say that I pulled for Auburn during their 2019 Final 4 run but have to admit it incredibly impressive beating North Carolina, Kansas, and Kentucky back to back to back.
As for Alabama going back to sucking next season, I wouldn't bet on it. There will undoubtedly be a drop off but with Shackleford, Quinnerly, Ellis, Primo, Gary, and Tchikou returning and adding JD Davison and J Holt we should be a Top 5 or 6 SEC and a NCAA tournament team next season.

We are a little streaky offensively. Hell, we didn't shoot the ball all that well today, which is kind of scary to think about. But we definitely give 100% effort in every game, and our first half defense today was other worldly.

Plenty of major contributors on this team who aren’t seniors. I’m not saying Alabama will be this good next year, but I don’t think they’ll fall off a cliff either.

Pearl and Oates are also good enough talent scouts to know that Watford was extremely overrated to begin with. And even if he wasn't, he doesn't really fit with the play style either coach likes to run anyway, at least on offense

I mean, he would have been a nice bench/situational player at Bama this year. Good thing he went to play for tPear where he could play a little.
