He was clearly picked on. Alabama set a target on the matchups.

On 4 plays? Why didn't y'all throw at him more and just put the game away early?

This is what they don't get. He was only a sophomore. I bet every single DB in the last 30 years that started as a true sophomore had at least one game with 4+ passes completed against him. It's ridiculous.

Yea, it's pretty funny to see these lurker type posters just repeat the same thing that they've read on the SEC rant for a year

He is a good player. I am fascinated by LSU fans having trouble admitting his crap stinks.

It is weird.

Also, please stop getting your talking points from the Rant. Mediocre minds always do their best.

He's pretty scrutinized by LSU fans IMO

I hope you're joking. i've seen harder hits than that in a JR high game. He did grab him on the shoulder pad but kirkpatrick flopped himself into that injury

I disagree entirely.

I have seen more defending him than I could imagine, from his "incidental" contact to erratic behavior. LSU fans have defended him through and through.

Don't even try, these Ranters are like Pravda.

He was beaten on the play and slugged him. "Technique issues" is total bull.

I cannot immagine the reaction to an Alabama or Notre Dame player doing the same.

Unreal.

You really think there was defense of him during his suspension?

That clearly shows him GRABBING him on the shoulder pad and twisting him not clotheslining him.

Well this play that people are referring to with Kirkpatrick as "dirty" is honestly fricking pathetic. TM held Dre, by his shoulder pad. It was a penalty. People calling that play dirty either don't know what dirty is or they are the true meaning of a pansy.

As far as calling TM as he is. He is great in open space, blitzing, ball skills, reaking havoc in the backfield, etc. He does have a deficiency at pass coverage as we all know. He needs to work on that more if he wants to better his future but he was only a sophomore last year.

And I won't even talk about his off the field antics because I think my previous posts can tell you how I feel about that.

Wrong. Media hype and special teams play got him to New York.

If it was fractionally as good as the defense of the Bar Fight scene...

Then a resounding YES.

Are kidding me? LSU fans trash this kid for everything he does. His accent, his clothes, his tattoos, his tweets are all thing that fans on the rant have trashed TM7 for.
