dude, stop. you're making us look bad and lobbing up softballs for aggie trolls to take yard.

Not that the "Running of the Gumps" helped any but I'd lean with elitists. Now what I was commenting on was strictly IN THE STADIUM. I found you all to be timid and reserved, almost nervous. It just wasn't as unhinged as you see Death Valley get. Outside of the stadium IRL Alabama has a passion hard to match, but that's what happens when you're the face of a conference. But in the stadium i was actually shocked. Plus the pregame left a lot to be desired. Dixieland delight and Sweet Home Alabama were truly the 2 only things that made it stand out from the stadiums I've been to.
I was extremely underwhelmed for the Texas A&M game last year. It wasn't loud at all. Everyone sitting down. No one yelling. It was very surprising.

If A&M wants him you will be.

Kyle isn't very loud. aggy fans try to make it sound intimidating by calling it "organized cheering," but it's just a bunch of kids saying "whoop" when they're told

I don't know why I'm falling for the obvious troll bait tonight.
Oh well, come on down everyone. I say this in all sincerity, you'll be treated very fricking well and you'll have a great time. We're so geeked out I doubt you'll pay for many drinks the entire night... lest you show up looking to be a dick.
Then you'll be ignored. I've rarely run across a nicer fan base, win or lose. It's not a "pretty" college town, but if you can't have fun with all the Texan poontang and free drinks you're doing it VERY wrong.

In this day and age, how can anyone really want that? The NFL doesn't draft RBs highly anymore. WRs can't get touched. The rules protect the QB.
It's like getting excited about a fullback. Yeah sure Daryl Johnston was bad arse, but it's outdated football.

I'll take one Myles Garrett over 5 Fournettes.
Word is Garrett's performance in camp so far is 5+ stars. Been whipping A&M's LT who was rated to be a late first rounder last year.

And Fournette is the second coming of Daryl Johnston.

Not only that, but a defensive end is more valuable than a RB. LSU fans want to act like Fournette was the best player in the country, but some services had Myles Garrett as the number one overall guy. I think it's pretty obvious just from film that the Aggies got the better overall prospect.

One of those stadiums is consistently rated as the loudest, most intimidating, and best atmosphere in college athletics.
The other is Kyle Field.
The other is Kyle Field.

You say that until he runs roughshod over your defense this year. How could you say it's outdated football? LSU and Alabama compete for championships every year on that type of football. The spread teams come and go (ahem Florida, Auburn) but the traditional programs are the ones showing the longevity.

Saban wins with that style of football. VY, Cam, Tebow, Winston. Outside of Saban, the spread wins. Only one team has ever been shut out in the BCS Title game and struggled to cross the 50, and it was LSU running a shitty offense.

The stadium's atmosphere is just as lame as its name.

And just imagine the atmosphere after the remodel and canopies are finished. Hopefully spirit killer 2.0 doesnt interrupt with ads between plays.

Youre right. Its no atmosphere without squirrel jumping the visitors section.

Seems like Jason Cook and the marketing gang have gotten the message about not shouting down the 12th Man with ads. They'll still have to fold some in, of course, but hopefully they'll be less obnoxious.
How much you wanna bet the two smaller video boards get a few more frequent ads than the SEZ behemoth?
